Description

A delightful winter cake with rich chocolate layers and fluffy marshmallow frosting, topped with sweetened shredded coconut.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups sweetened shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.
  2. Combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared pans.
  4. Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  6. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold in the marshmallow fluff.
  7. Layer one cake on a serving plate, add frosting, then top with the second layer and frost the top and sides.
  8. Press the shredded coconut into the frosting for a snowy effect.
  9. Slice and serve to enjoy!

Notes

For best results, chill the heavy cream before whipping. You can customize the frosting with vanilla or add fresh fruits as decoration.
