Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your cupcake pan with paper liners.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and dried lavender in a medium bowl.
- Cream the butter and granulated sugar using an electric mixer until pale and fluffy.
- Beat in the honey and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until just incorporated.
- Incorporate the flour mixture alternating with milk until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into each cupcake liner, filling them about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 16-18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Beat softened butter until creamy, then add sifted powdered sugar and honey for frosting.
- Frost each cooled cupcake generously.
