Description

Delicate and fluffy Lavender Honey Cupcakes infused with floral lavender and topped with honey frosting, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dried Culinary Lavender
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Honey (for frosting)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your cupcake pan with paper liners.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and dried lavender in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream the butter and granulated sugar using an electric mixer until pale and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the honey and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until just incorporated.
  6. Incorporate the flour mixture alternating with milk until just combined.
  7. Spoon the batter into each cupcake liner, filling them about two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for 16-18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Beat softened butter until creamy, then add sifted powdered sugar and honey for frosting.
  11. Frost each cooled cupcake generously.

Notes

Make cupcakes a day in advance for best results. Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing.
