Instructions
- Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- Mix flour and salt in a separate bowl. Create a well in the center, pour in yeast mixture and olive oil. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the risen dough to your desired thickness and place it on a pizza stone or greased baking sheet.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly across the dough, sprinkle with cheese, and add your favorite toppings.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.
