Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, corn syrup, cocoa powder, peppermint extract, and water. Mix until the consistency is smooth and dough-like.
- Roll the mixture into small balls or flatten into patties.
- Lay the patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate them for 30 minutes.
- While the patties chill, melt the chocolate using a double boiler, stirring in coconut oil if desired.
- Dip each chilled patty into the melted chocolate, ensuring complete coverage.
- Set the coated patties back on the parchment and allow the chocolate to harden completely.
- Store the peppermint patties in an airtight container.
