Description

Tender and juicy steak strips marinated in honey and soy sauce, grilled to perfection for a delightful contrast of sweetness and savoriness.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak strips (flank or sirloin)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Add the steak strips to the marinade, coating each piece, cover, and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the steak strips from the marinade, letting the excess drip off.
  5. Place the steak strips onto the hot grill pan.
  6. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until desired doneness.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Marinate overnight for deeper flavor, and avoid overcrowding the pan while cooking.
