Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef and ground pork in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mix in the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese, folding in the eggs gently.
  4. Incorporate minced garlic, chopped onions, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a prepared loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  7. Rest the meatloaf for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a glossy finish, brush a mixture of ketchup and extra Parmesan on the top during the last 10 minutes of baking. Feel free to make substitutions for dietary needs.
