Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place the Dutch oven inside to warm up.
  2. Mix the flour, yogurt, sour cream, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Adjust the consistency by adding water if the dough feels too dry.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes until smooth.
  5. Shape the dough into a round loaf and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
  6. Transfer the loaf to the preheated Dutch oven, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool the bread for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Consider letting the dough rest in the fridge overnight for improved flavor. You can also use an air fryer at 350°F (175°C) if a Dutch oven is not available.
