Description

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen ravioli (cheese or meat-filled)
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef (or sausage)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, seasoning it generously with salt and pepper. Once cooked, drain any excess grease.
  2. Layer the Ravioli: Begin by layering half of the frozen ravioli at the bottom of your slow cooker.
  3. Add Meat Sauce: Spoon half of the cooked meat sauce generously over the ravioli.
  4. Dollop the Ricotta: Next, dollop half of the ricotta cheese on top of the sauce.
  5. Sprinkle Cheeses: Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the ricotta.
  6. Repeat Layers: Repeat the layering process with the remaining ravioli, meat sauce, ricotta, and cheeses.
  7. Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
