Description

A delicious dish featuring crispy chicken breasts coated in Parmesan and breadcrumbs, served with a rich, creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Create a lightweight assembly line with flour, whisked eggs, and a mixture of Parmesan and breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip in egg, and roll in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the fried chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet, then add heavy cream and cook until thickened. Adjust seasoning.
  7. Serve chicken hot, drizzled with creamy garlic sauce and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Notes

Can substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce or use almond flour for gluten-free.
