Description

A delightful fusion of Caribbean spices and creamy sauce wrapped around pasta, featuring tender chicken and vibrant vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast
  • 2 tbsp Jerk Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Bell Pepper
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Fresh Parsley for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté Chicken: In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the sliced chicken and jerk seasoning, cooking until the chicken turns golden brown and cooked through, around 6-8 minutes.
  3. Add Vegetables: Toss in the sliced bell peppers, onion, and minced garlic into the skillet. Sauté until the vegetables soften, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in Cream: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Allow it to simmer gently for a few minutes.
  5. Combine Pasta and Cheese: Add the cooked pasta and shredded cheese into the skillet. Mix thoroughly until the pasta is beautifully combined and coated in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley. Serve hot.

Notes

Can customize the heat level by adjusting jerk seasoning. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days.
