- Incorporate chicken and broth: Pour in the chicken broth along with the shredded chicken. Sprinkle in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
- Simmer the soup: Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes.
- Serve hot: Ladle the soup into bowls, topping with crispy tortilla strips.
