- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cups chicken broth

- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
- Sauté the onion and garlic in the bacon drippings until translucent (3-5 minutes).
- Add the diced potatoes and chicken, stirring to coat in the drippings.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, until potatoes are fork-tender.
- Blend with an immersion blender for a smooth texture, leaving some chunks if desired.
- Stir in the heavy cream and ranch seasoning, simmering for another 5-10 minutes.
