- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheese, all-purpose flour, eggs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Form fritters by dropping dollops of the mixture into the skillet and gently flattening them.
- Cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- Drain excess oil on paper towels.
- Serve warm as a snack, side dish, or light meal.
Notes
For an air-fried version, cook at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes. For added flavor, consider including grated carrots or spices.
