- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup broccoli florets

Instructions
- Cook the tortellini in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions, about 3-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until bubbling.
- Sauté the minced garlic in the melted butter for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Incorporate the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens, then season with salt and pepper.
- Add the broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes until vibrant and tender.
- Combine the cooked tortellini with the sauce, tossing to coat well. Add reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
- Serve warm, garnished with optional proteins or fresh herbs.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. You can also add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
