- 225 grams freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 3 medium yellow onions
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat Your Oven: Set it to 200°C (about 400°F).
- Prepare Your Baking Pan: Line a large rimmed baking pan with parchment paper.
- Spread the Cheese: Evenly distribute the freshly grated parmesan cheese across the pan.
- Slice Your Onions: Slice the yellow onions into very thin rings, about 4 millimeters in width.
- Arrange the Onion Rings: Lay the onion rings in a single layer on top of the parmesan.
- Brush with Oil: Lightly brush the tops of the onion rings with avocado oil.
- Season Generously: Sprinkle paprika, coarse sea salt, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper over the onions.
- Bake to Crispy Perfection: Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden and crunchy.
- Cool and Serve: Allow to cool on the pan for at least 10 minutes before breaking into pieces.
Notes
These chips are best enjoyed fresh but can be prepared a few hours ahead. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
