Description

Experience the vibrant flavors of Thailand with these delicious Thai Basil Beef Rolls, filled with savory ground beef and fresh vegetables, wrapped in rice paper and served with a creamy dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Rice paper wrappers
  • Vegetables for filling (shredded carrots, cucumber strips)
  • For dipping sauce: ½ cup hoisin sauce, 2 tablespoons peanut butter, dash of lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a non-stick skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, stirring gently. Drain excess fat.

  3. Soften the rice paper wrappers according to package instructions.
  4. Lay a softened rice paper wrapper on a flat surface. Add a small amount of the beef mixture and optional crunchy vegetables.
  5. Fold the sides in and roll tightly from the bottom up.
  6. For the dipping sauce, combine hoisin sauce, peanut butter, and lime juice in a bowl; whisk until smooth.
  7. Serve the rolls on a plate with the dipping sauce.
