Description

Succulent pork shoulder grilled to perfection, served with soft corn tortillas and vibrant toppings for a delightful taco experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Pork Shoulder
  • 10 Soft Corn Tortillas
  • 1 Onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup Cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Lime Juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup Salsa (verde or roja)
  • 1 cup Pineapple, grilled (optional)
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the pork: In a large mixing bowl, massage the pork shoulder with cumin, paprika, chili powder, lime juice, and salt until well coated. Cover and allow it to marinate for a minimum of 120 minutes or, ideally, overnight.
  2. Grill the pork: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated pork for 15-20 minutes per side until cooked through and slightly charred.
  3. Let it rest: Allow the pork to rest for 10 minutes, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Warm the tortillas: Heat the tortillas for 20-30 seconds per side until pliable.
  5. Assemble the tacos: Place pork on a tortilla and top with diced onions, cilantro, and salsa.
  6. Serve & enjoy: Present with lime wedges and extra salsa on the side.

Notes

Marinate the pork a day in advance for deeper flavor. Customize with toppings like jalapeños or avocado.
