Description

Deliciously soft and chewy cranberry bliss bars inspired by Starbucks, perfect for the holiday season.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. While the bars are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and lemon juice until smooth.
  10. Once the bars are cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting on top and cut into squares.

Notes

  • For a festive touch, sprinkle additional cranberries and white chocolate chips on top of the frosting.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • These bars can be frozen for up to 3 months; thaw before serving.
