Description

Delicious, fluffy, and flavorful savory sausage egg bites perfect for breakfast or a snack. Easy to make and adaptable to various dietary preferences.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup milk (whole or 2%)
  • 0.5 cup cooked breakfast sausage (crumbled)
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a muffin tin or silicone mold thoroughly.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook your sausage until well-browned. Drain excess fat and let cool slightly.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth and fluffy.
  5. Fold in the cooled sausage, shredded cheese, and green onions.
  6. Divide the egg mixture evenly among the muffin cups, filling them 3/4 full.
  7. Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until puffy and golden.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the tin and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days. These bites can be frozen for up to 2 months.
