Description

A delightful baked oatmeal recipe that combines the flavors of orange and cream for a delicious breakfast treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup orange zest
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, orange juice, milk, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the orange zest and mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  6. Let it cool slightly before serving.
  7. Top with Greek yogurt before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • For a vegan option, substitute milk with almond milk and Greek yogurt with a plant-based yogurt.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
