- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12–15 graham crackers or ladyfingers
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and dry the berries thoroughly. Slice the strawberries thinly, reserving a handful for garnish.
- In a mixing bowl, whip together the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, blend the mascarpone cheese with the lemon zest. Gently fold in the whipped cream to create a smooth filling.
- Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture at the bottom of a clear serving dish. Layer with graham crackers or ladyfingers and followed by a sprinkle of mixed berries. Repeat the layers until filled, finishing with mascarpone mixture on top.
- Top with reserved berries and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight for optimal flavor.
Notes
This dessert can be made the night before to enhance flavor. Avoid overwhipping the cream and ensure berries are dry to prevent sogginess.
