Description

A creamy and flavorful mozzarella cheese ball that brings people together, perfect as an appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs (parsley, chives, dill)
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Nuts (optional for coating)

Instructions

  1. Combine the mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, fresh herbs, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Use a hand mixer on medium speed for a couple of minutes until well-blended and smooth.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands.
  4. Roll the cheese ball in chopped nuts if desired.
  5. Wrap the ball snugly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes.
  6. Unwrap the cheese ball and place it onto a serving platter. Serve with crackers.

Notes

Make-ahead option: can be prepared a day in advance. Allow flavors to develop in the fridge.
