- 1 cup pancake mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine pancake mix, milk, and egg. Whisk until smooth, mixing just until no lumps remain.
- Gently fold in crumbled sausage and maple syrup. If adding cheese, mix it in now.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour tablespoon-sized amounts of batter onto the skillet to form bite-sized pancakes.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve warm with an additional drizzle of maple syrup.
