Description
A delicious and low-carb dish featuring shrimp and sausage stuffed in cabbage leaves, seasoned with Cajun spices.

- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and blanch the cabbage leaves for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add the smoked sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in the shrimp, diced tomatoes, and Cajun seasoning; cook until shrimp are pink.
- Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper.
- Place a portion of the shrimp and sausage mixture onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly.
- Arrange the stuffed cabbage rolls in a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add some cheese on top before baking.
- Feel free to adjust the level of Cajun seasoning to your taste.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
