A comforting and hearty casserole made with ground beef, potatoes, and a blend of seasonings, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until fully cooked.
- In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased casserole dish.
- Add the cooked ground beef mixture on top of the potatoes.
- Pour half of the soup mixture over the beef.
- Layer the remaining potatoes on top.
- Pour the rest of the soup mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle with cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like carrots or peas for extra nutrition.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
