Description

Delicious high-protein bagel bites filled with creamy cream cheese and topped with savory Everything But The Bagel seasoning.


Ingredients

  • ⅔ cup all-purpose gluten-free flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 scoop (30g) unflavored protein powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ⅔ cup plain unsweetened Greek yogurt
  • 10 tsp cream cheese (about 1 tsp per bite)
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten (optional, for egg wash)
  • Everything But The Bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, baking powder, protein powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well blended.
  2. Gradually mix in the Greek yogurt using a spatula, combining the ingredients until they form a sticky dough.
  3. Lightly flour a surface and divide the dough into 10 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball.
  4. Gently flatten each ball of dough and place about 1 teaspoon of cream cheese in the center. Carefully seal the dough around the cream cheese.
  5. If desired, brush the tops of your bagel bites with the lightly beaten egg wash or spray them with oil.
  6. Generously sprinkle the Everything But The Bagel seasoning over the tops of the bites.
  7. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F for approximately 5 minutes. Once ready, place the bagel bites in the basket and air fry for about 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow bagel bites to cool slightly on a rack before enjoying them warm.
