Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare the pans.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Pour in vanilla extract and milk, blending until combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture.
- Evenly divide batter into prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool cakes in pans, then transfer to wire racks.
- Frost with Swiss meringue buttercream and decorate as desired.
