Description

Warm and gooey sliders filled with savory roast beef, zesty sautéed onions, and melted provolone cheese, served with a delicious au jus for dipping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound roast beef, sliced
  • 8 small slider buns
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon au jus mix (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté the onions in a skillet over medium heat until translucent and golden brown, about 8 minutes.
  3. Assemble your sliders: Place the bottom half of your slider buns in a baking dish, arranging them snugly.
  4. Layer the roast beef generously on the buns.
  5. Add your sautéed onions on top of the roast beef, then sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Cover with the top half of the slider buns, gently pressing down to secure all the delicious fillings.
  7. Mix the beef broth with the au jus mix, if you’re using it, and pour this over the assembled sliders.
  8. Brush the tops with melted butter and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  9. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil, and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese gets bubbly and a touch golden.
  11. Serve warm with extra au jus on the side for dipping.

Notes

These sliders can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge. For cooking alternatives, you can also prepare them in an air fryer.
