Description

Indulge in these crispy delights filled with creamy crab and rich flavors, perfect for parties or cozy evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crab meat (fresh or imitation), chopped
  • 2 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, blend together the softened cream cheese, crab meat, sliced green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the creamy mixture in the center. Pinch the edges together tightly to seal.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Carefully drop the crab rangoon bombs into the hot oil in small batches. Fry for about 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Lift them out with a slotted spoon and let them drain on paper towels. Serve warm with dipping sauces.

Notes

You can prepare the filling a day in advance and store it in the fridge.
