Description

A comforting dish of creamy tortellini enveloped in a luscious, buttery sauce, punctuated with the sharp richness of grated Parmesan.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini in a large pot of boiling salted water according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently as it simmers.
  4. Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until it melts into a creamy sauce.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Toss the drained tortellini in the sauce until coated.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

For the best experience, serve the tortellini alfredo right away. You can prepare the sauce in advance and store it in the refrigerator for up to two days.
