Description

A delightful breakfast casserole that combines the comfort of cinnamon rolls with the nostalgic flavors of French toast.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (12.4 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Powdered sugar for serving
  • Butter for greasing the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and generously grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and using a sharp knife, cut each roll into quarters, then arrange them in your greased baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and maple syrup until completely smooth.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces in your baking dish, ensuring each piece gets a delicious soak.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is a beautiful golden brown and the rolls have cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Drizzle with the provided icing from the cinnamon rolls and dust with powdered sugar right before serving.

Notes
