Description

A comforting casserole featuring savory ground beef and gooey cheddar cheese, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  4. Cover the top with shredded cheddar cheese and drizzle with ketchup if desired.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until browned and bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
