Description

Delicious cheesy beef burritos packed with seasoned ground beef, creamy refried beans, and melted cheese, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
  • Sour cream (for serving)
  • Salsa (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and diced onions; cook until beef is browned and onions are translucent (about 7-10 minutes).
  2. Drain any excess fat from the skillet and add taco seasoning. Stir to coat the meat and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  3. Warm tortillas in a pan or microwave for 20-30 seconds.
  4. Spread refried beans in the center of each tortilla, add the beef mixture, and top with shredded cheese.
  5. Roll up the tortillas tightly and place them seam-side down in an oiled baking dish.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling.
  7. Serve hot with sour cream and salsa.

Notes

Customize with toppings like avocado, fresh cilantro, or jalapeños. These burritos also freeze well for future meals.
