- 2 large apples
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Core and slice the apples into thin pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Roll out the pie crust and cut it into circles.
- Place a spoonful of the cheesecake mixture in the center of each circle.
- Add a few apple slices on top of the cheesecake mixture.
- Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter filling, add more sugar to the cream cheese mixture.
