Description

Ingredients

  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil: In a large skillet or wok, pour in the sesame oil and turn the heat to medium.
  2. Cook the beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until it’s browned and fully cooked, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Sauté aromatics: Toss in the sliced onion and minced garlic. Stir until the onion turns translucent and fragrant, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add the vegetables: Stir in the chopped cabbage, bell peppers, and julienned carrots. Sauté until the vegetables are tender yet still crisp, approximately 5 minutes.
  5. Season the stir fry: Pour in the soy sauce, stirring well to coat every ingredient. Adjust the flavor with salt and pepper.
  6. Final cook: Allow everything to mingle together for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Serve and garnish: Once cooked through, serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
