- 1 fully cooked ham (about 8–10 lbs)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Zest of 1 orange
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Combine brown sugar, honey, orange juice, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, and orange zest in a mixing bowl. Whisk until the sugar dissolves and the glaze thickens.
- Place the ham in a roasting pan, then score the surface in a diamond pattern.
- Brush the ham generously with the glaze.
- Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the remaining glaze.
- Remove the foil in the final 30 minutes for caramelization.
- Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving warm.
