Delicious blueberry cinnamon rolls filled with sweet blueberries and a hint of cinnamon, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Spread the blueberries evenly over the dough.
- In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar, then sprinkle over the blueberries.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- While baking, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to make icing.
- Drizzle icing over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh blueberries.
- Can substitute frozen blueberries, but thaw and drain excess moisture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
