Description

A vibrant and delicious trifle featuring layers of angel food cake, tangy berries, creamy vanilla pudding, and fluffy whipped cream, perfect for your summer celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound strawberries, sliced
  • 1 pound blueberries
  • 1 pound angel food cake, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer the angel food cake cubes at the bottom.
  2. Add a layer of sliced strawberries evenly over the cake.
  3. Sprinkle a beautiful layer of blueberries atop the strawberries.
  4. Spread half of the vanilla pudding over the berries.
  5. Add a thick layer of whipped cream on top of the pudding.
  6. Continue layering with remaining ingredients until all are used, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  7. Decorate with extra berries on top and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: For the best results, prepare and assemble the trifle a day in advance. Allowing it to chill helps flavors meld together.
